If you know of anyone traveling to nationals
early and would like early $20 tickets for Elitch Gardens theme
park, I am working on getting some so Hillsboro can go on the
27th, and I'll bet I can get more. I am sure the transaction
will take place SOON, so let me know ASAP.

Advisors:
Dear Advisors,
I apologize for the delay in the response from
state conference. I greatly appreciate all the help everyone
provided to make a successful conference. I am highly disappointed
to receive the bill from the conference center to find out that
there was extra cleaning needed to the boys dorms and that there
were items damaged in the recreation building that we were charged
for as well. We need to either not offer that facility next
year or have school sign up times to monitor it. Any suggestions
here would be greatly appreciated. Also there needs to be some
modifications to the checkout procedures for the sleeping facilities.
State Officer Applications are due the 15th!!
Still need a few….don’t have regional representatives.
Think about it; it is a great learning experience and great
leadership opportunities await you!
National conference is just around the corner.
We need to get organized here. I have advisors already asking
how many are going, if certain students are going, if there
are any schools interested in rooming together (one school already
has let me know they need a room to house the one girl they
are taking if possible to cut down on costs and one male sponsor
spot?) There are several state qualifying events and these are
needing to be finalized. If you student is one listed in the
attachment and they are not planning on attending nationals…I
need to know ASAP. Funding is an issue everywhere and schools
want to know if they can offer the spot to their students and
get financing figured out. I hate putting anyone on a timeline;
however, I need to know by Thursday the 14th (THIS THURSDAY).
Thank you for your help and I will look forward to hearing from
you. Please do confirm that your students are going in the state
qualifying events!
